RW — REITER-WERZIN

A competition law boutique based in Vienna, founded by Dr. Florian Reiter-Werzin in 2026.

Dr. Florian Reiter-Werzin

Who we are

After almost ten years at a leading global law firm, Florian Reiter-Werzin founded RW to combine senior competition law expertise with a genuinely modern, technology-enabled way of working.

Why a boutique

The right set-up at the right time. Even the most complex competition matters no longer require large teams and an armada of junior lawyers. We work in lean, senior teams and integrate AI and workflow tools intelligently, to deliver top-quality advice quickly and cost-efficiently.

Technology driven

We are integrating AI and workflow tools to address real pain points in the provision of legal services: reducing manual work, increasing consistency, quality and speed, and making costs more predictable.

Our approach

We are lawyers first: our job is to solve your legal problems and manage your legal risk. That takes legal excellence, but also a real understanding of your business and a willingness to get into your products and markets.

A law firm at the forefront of the market in 2026 aims to go well beyond that and integrate technology in all workflows, to sharpen the advice, deliver on your timeline and manage costs. Efficiency matters to us: not only with our own resources, but with yours. Our aim is to make your life easier, less risky and less bureaucratic.

Experience

A track record built on some of Europe's most complex matters.

Prior to founding RW, Florian Reiter-Werzin worked at Freshfields, a global law firm, from 2017 to 2026, as part of teams advising on a number of precedent-setting transactions, antitrust investigations and State aid and FSR matters, including:

  • DSV on its 14.3 billion EUR acquisition of Schenker, in EU merger control and FSR proceedings — creating the world's largest freight forwarder.
